Anyways, I put the record on the turntable, put the needle down and heard that wonderful pop and buzz as the record was about to start. The opening line of the title track 'looking back with love' set the tone for the whole album, a most gruesome violation of the eardrums/5(37).

Looking Back with Love is the debut solo album by American singer Mike Love, released in by Boardwalk Records. The album is currently out of print, and has never been issued on CD nor digitally. Love's cover of "Be My Baby" originates from July sessions produced by his Beach Boys bandmate and cousin Brian Wilson.
